PAEDIATRIC SPEECH PATHOLOGIST (PART-TIME/CONTRACTOR)

Southern Sydney Speech, Language and Learning Clinic has been established for 24 years and is well known in the local community. Services are based on site at Mortdale in the St George Area of Sydney, and at preschools and schools.

The practice offers a diverse caseload including learning difficulties, dyspraxia, feeding, stuttering, voice, articulation and language delay/disorder, with ages ranging from 0-18 years, but desired applicants are required to have sound knowledge and experience assessing and supporting children with additional needs, particularly ASD.

 

Essential Criteria:

·         Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalent

·         Membership of Speech Pathology Australia and CPSP participant

·         Availability to work Saturday mornings (minimum)

·         12 months minimum clinical experience

·         Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for school visits

·         Ability to work independently and as an effective team member

·         Excellent organisational skills

·         Computer literacy

·         Working With Children Check issued by the Office of the Children’s Guardian

·         Professional indemnity insurance will be required for the successful applicant

·         Eligibility for or current registration with Medicare and Private Health Funds will be required for the successful applicant
